Start with the route

List every pickup and delivery location, the days service is needed, and the contact at each stop. Separate regular stops from occasional requests so your carrier can understand the pattern.

  • Pickup and delivery addresses, including city, state, and ZIP.
  • Number of stops and expected shipment volume.
  • Package dimensions, weight, and any handling instructions.

Describe the handoff

Explain building access, loading areas, receiver availability, and what confirmation your team needs after delivery. Tell NDE about preferred windows; a submitted preference is not a confirmed delivery time.

Plan for changes

Include peak periods, returns, missed receivers, and the person authorized to approve changes. NDE will review the route and confirm service availability and pricing directly.
